The European consortium FashionPartner, previously DHL Fashion and specialised in the logistics and distribution of boxed and hanging fashion articles, was officially purchased at the city of Meaux's trade tribunal on 13th May, by DIMOTRANS Group.
After incorporating LDI, an ex-subsidiary of MORY specialised in the transport of clothes, two years ago, the DIMOTRANS Group is pursuing its external growth strategy in the fashion and luxury sector with this latest acquisition. This time, the Lyon-based SME and French leader in international multimodal transport and logistics in B to B and B to C, is integrating €45M in turnover and 200 employees.
"FashionPartner has over 45 years of undisputed expertise in the fashion and luxury sector, working with major French and European brands. This purchase strengthens our service range in this market, offering complete control of the supply chain, from sourcing and supplier management at the site of production units around the world, to 'last mile' deliveries to shops," Salvatore Alaimo, President of DIMOTRANS Group, states.
"Integrating the skills of FashionPartner's teams, whose quality of service is recognised by professionals in the fashion business, is in addition to the recent acquisition, last December, of Supply Chain Performance (SCP). These actions are all to develop our ecommerce activity, SoeBusiness."
DIMOTRANS Group is now able to provide a complete solution for the cross-channel distribution needs of brands.
This new acquisition is part of DIMOTRANS Group's EVOLO strategic plan that aims to double the company's turnover to €500M by 2020.
